Moab March 21

[UNSTUCK]

Seems like I read on here somewhere that some of the EJS trail leaders were pre running trails on the 21. Is this correct?

My family and a friends family will be down there for the marathon on Saturday and wheeling on Sunday. We will both be renting JK's from Cliffhanger (Yeah....I know. My rig's down right now.) It will be my friends frist time wheeling.

If you wouldn't mind us taging along that would be great. I'd like to show my buddy a good time with a group of wheelers. Otherwise I'll just take him around Hell's and maybe Poision Spyder.

There will probably be several EJS pre-runs that weekend. You are welcome to join We-Be-Jeepin on Cliffhanger on the 21st, meet at Slickrock Cinema at 9:00. Others will likely meet at City Market.

I've never done cliffhanger before. You think a coulple to rentals and my rookie friend will be up to it? I don't want to slow you down. Thanks.

Most of Cliffhanger is pretty straightforward, but there are a few obstacles that will really challenge a beginner, and I wouldn'd recommened doing it without at least one locker. Check with the rental company first, there are some trails they won't let people take the rentals on. I'm not sure if Cliffhanger is one of those or not.

I'll check on that. We are renting JK Rubi's so we will be good with the lockers.

Yep, we're doing the same. Running on Saturday and wheeling on Sunday. Cliffhanger is fun and we've got Melanie to lead the way! Oh joy!

This sounds good. As long as Cliffhanger will let us run Cliffhanger (you thing they would with that name) we'll be at the cinema before 9am. How long do you think it will take to run it? Wondering if we'll have time to get another run in.

Shouldn't be a super long day, but it will depend on how many we have and if we have any problems. I would guess we would be off the trail before 3:00.

Yeah, so the others in our group didn't even get out of their tent until close to 9am. I had the tent packed and ready to go and sitting in my car. I was pretty upset. We rented our JK's at 1030. We went over and ran Hells. I was a good time, as always and the weather was perfect.
I scratched a fender flair a little bit going up Hells Gate, so now I have to pay for that which I'm not to happy about.


Any one have a flair I can buy cheep?
