I was born 57, so was actually just a bit young for the true free love stuff (always wished I would have been old enough to make woodstock) ... but I had my share of psychedelic posters (ummm and enhancement producing additives for said mentioned posters).

Hair to mid back in younger years, and moab river rat long before the current day hippies took over the place.

watch yourself there. you drive a tiny car and work for apple. you're dangerously close to being a modern-liberal-hippy-deusch

Now, cody has caught my thoughts here ... I'm all behind cody's plan if it is qualified to "modern-liberal-hippy-deusch"

Individuals who survived the 60's ... yes some true hippies ... typically moved on to conservative productive lifestyles ROCK.

You young punks don't know shiz from shinola

Maybe I’ll start my own plan … hmmm rid the world of the evil 80’s generation punks

edit

P.S. Hey Cody, will you be my poster child?

Listen to you old, and old-thinking GEEZERS! Our parents and older brothers said the same dang things.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. There are plenty of yoots that get it. :D

Ya, as long as you are creative about it. You can say what you want and be as offensive as you want--as long as you're original. Alas, I think all the bong water you've injested over the last 40 years of hippidom has probably washed the originality right out of ya ;) ;)

oh, and about your ancient "wisdom"...

"..Age is no better, hardly so well, qualified for an instructor as youth, for it has not profited so much as it has lost......Practically, the old have no very important advice to give the young, their own experience has been so partial and their lives have been such miserable failures, for private reasons....I have lived some thirty years on this planet, and i have yet to hear the first syllable of valuable or even earnest advice from my seniors.....Here is life, an experiment to a great extent untried by me;...if I have any experience which I think valuable, I am sure to reflect that this my Mentors said nothing about"

Right there with ya, actually a year older, but didn't start going to Moab until mid 80s for mountain biking and the Fat Tire Festival.
