Do you have a power steering pump? I will try to help you get some more out of your basement the best I can;)
Thanks Dave!

Let me check for sure but I think I have a pump but the return line plastic fitting is busted off. If you have a spare reservoir it could be swapped on.

cleaned them up put them on. turned around and sold the other jeep tires and rims. not bad, but soon i will upgrade to 33's. I also had a surco roof rack from my YJ that i wasnt using so I put that on my project for extra luggage space.

What are you into this thing so far? Under $1000? Awesome build
i will have to double check, but when it was all put back together and ready for tax licensing i was into it 300$ to 500$. i was using everything from pocket change to the gas still in the white cherokees fuel tank in figuring out how much I saved. I will post up the exact numbers next week. for sure I got a little neurotic about it.

I found a cheap spare tire and hand it mounted on my spare rim. I also had a surco luggage roof rack that I hadn't used in years from my YJ. at one point I had thought about selling it.

trac bar, control arms and springs where all taken from the white XJ and transplanted onto the new one.

Started him up and back it out of the garage for the first time. still a bit of work to do though. the paint on the hood was chipping bad! and the driver side back door was so oxidized it didnt even look like it belonged color wise on the jeep. I found a manual door on ksl for 10$ so I took the guts of the electrical bad door, and swapped tj
hem over to the manual door that I bought. and then for the hood, I found a beautiful painted door at tear a part auto yard. Again i didnt want to paint anything yet. maybe someday but not for how cheep I wanted to keep this.
