I need two pieces turned on a lathe. I'm updating an early 1990's bicycle frame building jig to build modern mountain bikes. I have the materials ready to go. I'm in Utah county. Closer is preferable, but I'll drive to SLC if need be. Not looking for a freebie, I'm just tired of dealing with machine shops that are so reluctant to do anything besides production work (which I totally understand.) I thought I'd post up here and see if anyone is willing to help me out. We can work out some sort of compensation.
The first one is a piece of 3/4" stainless rod about 12" long. I need both ends squared up and chamfered.
The second one is an aluminum spool piece. 2.5" long and 1" diameter. Nothing too technical. Dimensioned drawing is attached.
