Need a haul from north salt lake to Magna. Can you help?

I need a forklift moved. It's small, but still weighs 7600 pounds. It's too much for my trailer. I'm trying to do it tomorrow or Thursday. Maybe Friday if I have to. I will of course compensate you. If you are up for it pm me and I'll give you the details. Should be super easy.
Thanks.

Right on. I had a wrecker service pick up and deliver my forklift though ILean borrowed it and transported on a car-hauler, worked out nicely as I recall.

I thought about using my trailer but it's only rated for 7000 and that's on a good day. It hasn't had a good day in years.

We've hauled a 9k truck on our 7k trailer many times. Axle ratings are really more of a guideline than a limit :D

It did work, but it broke one of the boards and bent the axles. :D Would have been cheaper to rent a more appropriate trailer, or hire a wrecker.

Yeah, and your trailer is in WAY better condition than mine. I'll check on the tow company. But I thought enough of you guys had big trailers this could work out well and put some Christmas cash in your wallet.

Got it! And here's a shameless plug for Ahern Rentals who hooked me up with a trailer free of charge! Maybe because I have a forklift and manlift on rent right now at work. Either way, I got a quote for just over $300 from a tow company, so this worked out great! Thanks for the offers to help.

Here's my new toy. I'm now having second thoughts about the low lift height. It will be nice in my garage, but it may prove inadequate for removing roll cages and such. If that's the case I can build a jib to give it extra height. Time will tell, and at $1500 in decent shape, I couldn't pass it up.

I'm hoping to find some traction tires for it now. I have this idea to build a snow plow for it. I have a Warn 4 wheeler blade just sitting here. I'm thinking I'll build a pivot for it and then use the side shift hydraulics to control the left to right pivot of the blade. Should be pretty cool.

Has one hydraulic leak on it that I need to take care of. Leaking between the drive box and hyd. pump. I'm hoping it's just an O-ring. We'll see. Other than that it's in good shape.

I need one of those around my place. Whats the highest it will reach? Is it common for them to sell for $1500 or did you find a screamin deal?

Right now it is a "good" deal. Once I get the known issues resolved I will know if it its a screaming deal. I'm a bit conserned about the lift height of this one at about 7 feet. It's designed to load trailers not stack pallet racks. I would love 3 more feet of lift. I'm pretty sure I can overcome that if need be.
In the meantime it's just a kid attraction. Free rides to all!
