Need help locating a person

Hey guys i know this is an odd ball thing to post on here but we really need some help. Me and my wife are trying to locate her ex-husband and father of my two stepsons due to child support and abandonment. We have not been able to reach him or contact him in any form. Even ORS is looking he is one of those guys who jump from job to job to avoid paying child support. Anyhow his name is Wrex Lewis about 5'6 blond hair, mullet, approx 140lbs with blue eyes. He was last known to be in tooele and driving a grey "we heard" jeep cherokee lifted and he also drives for CarTow last we heard but not sure anymore. All we are trying to do is contact him so that i may try to adopt the kids since he has not seen them or talked to them in about six months, We want the kids to have a normal happy life they are 4 and 8 so they still are able to. Sorry if anybody is offended that i am posting here but we are running out of options, hoping some of you will understand our situation, thank you so much in advance, Dean and Connie

Sorry if it offened you but yea we have tried those sites but were led to dead ends and the police cannot even locate them so i am looking to my friends in the off road community to help again sorry but that is why I also didnt put it any any forum besides chit chat

I too agree! How would you feel if you had kids you cared about that had/have been abducted? Put yourself in his shoes. I hope you find them! I will keep an eye out!;)

All you guys on here are so aswome for your help and concern for my (connie) sons well being. FYI The main reason we are lookin for him is because my youngest went to the hospital last year and spent 2 days up at Primary Chrildrens. I had ins, on him but it didnt cover enuff. Wrex was to pay the remanding of the bills and has since then lost contact with his son. We are looking for the help of you guys to get Wrex to pay off the over 4,000 in doc bills, or we will lose or jeeps and other things that beniffet the boys. Thank you all agin so very much you dont know how much this means to us! Your in our thoughts!

At first I wasn't offended; but now I'm confused! First you say you are looking for this guy to adopt your step kids. Now you say it's because you need to him to pay your bills.

No offense, but if you can't afford to take care of the kids, then you shouldn't have the toys. Especially when it's only $4k....

If you are really concerned about their well being, start there. Sell the toys, get a better job so you can get better insurance, etc. Sorry...Kids come first...

I believe that the bills are the fathers to pay half of. I completely understand the feeling of wanting to adopt the kids, if the father has abandoned them. I am in a similar situation. I believe if you abandon your kids, hide from your responsibilities etc. you dont deserve to see your kids. I have paid my child support and am paying for all my step kids needs. He needs to do the same. Good luck!

I would just find a way to set up a payment plan with the medical people and pay them yourself. Once you do find this dude and IF he does pay what he owes than you can pu that money towards your kids college or anything else that can benifit them in the future. I know that the medical industry takes paying them seriously and will summon your wife to court for the unpaid amount. Set up payment plans now so you dont have to fork over a chunk of money. Good luck with finding the biological father.....though now it seems that you are the kids father in spirit and love...which is all they need!! :)

no We are trying to find him so strangKowboy can adopt them. This is my ex husband and he has droped of thr side of the planet. stangeKowboys jeep is down but my jeep is the one we use to get the kids back and forth to school and doc apts. Mine is the main used one. And the money that we are trying to get from him is for the sole use to help the one out on his med bills. Sorry for the confusion. But even if we just find him so that strangeKowboy can adopt them is better then nothing. I will pay the bills and not look back. I just want my kids to live a happy life and right now...well I just dont know what to tell them. If any of you know how to tell a 8 year old there dad has just forgot about them can you give me some pointers?

Girl I am not even going to begin to understand what you and your kids are going through. I am sorry for all the troubles you and the family are facing with this jackass. I have no clue on what you would tell your kids about all this. Especiall if he decided to pop in and out of their lives when it is convenient for him. How are your kids handling everything?

I havent really told them only cuz I dont know how. They dont ask for him anymore. It used to be every weekend "Is our dad coming to get us?" and I would have to say no hes working or something like that. But strangekowboy is doin a good job at takin care of them

Don't feel that you should have to apologize for wanting him to pay the med bills, or the child support for that matter... he did play a hand in making the kids after all.

Hey guys so you understand what we are tryin to do is locate dead beat dad so that I may try to adopt the kids to give them a better life because at this time I can not insure the chrildren so Im payin all upfront med cost. and tryin to better there lifes in all ways. As for my toys they are not mine they are the familys, and for those of you that have seen me on the trail would of have also awlawys seen the chrildren with us. but at this time we are unable to do those things. We want to thank eveyone that has re-plyed because its amazing how much info you can gather from heart felt pepole. Hopefully we will see you out on the trail soon. Dean

Don't feel you have to rationalize your actions! None of us know your financial situation, so it's not anyone's place to tell you to sell your toys. I'm sorry someone reacted rudely, because that isn't the overall sentiment. Regardless of your reasons, it sounds like you do need to find this guy, if for nothing else to get him to sign off on his parental rights, which was the original point of this thread. In regards to your children, I can't even imagine what you're going through. They are so fortunate to have someone in their life who does want to be their father and take care of them. Hopefully that will help round off the edges of having "lost" their biological dad. I wasn't fortunate enough to have my dead beat father disappear, although I spent many years wishing he would. But I can tell you this, I would have given my right arm for anyone to fill that vacancy! So keep your heads up! :)
