Get a bigger bottle than you think you need. It's annoying to run out on a Saturday night.I’m taking gas bottle donations

This ☝️ The refill cost isn't much different between the bottle sizes, so might as well get the beeeg won.Get a bigger bottle than you think you need. It's annoying to run out on a Saturday night.
Humphry's has Saturday morning hours....Pro Tip:
Get the biggest bottle you can. You will run out on a Saturday.
Talking about the humphries in AF? They aren’t open saturdays any more. It’s lame.Humphry's has Saturday morning hours....
That said, I have 200cf bottle for both 75/25 for the Mig and Argon for the TIG
First welding project with a new welder is always a cart for said welder. Come on man.Fired up the new welder tonight. It took a few minutes to get it dialed right for what I was doing, but once it was set, I was very happy. The lowest setting on this is still probably slightly hotter than the highest on my 110.

I am surprised with the odd powder the flux core is leaving behind. It’s the Lincoln 0.3 from HD.. the same stuff I have in my 110.. but it sure acts different. It takes a bit of brushing to get it off. You can see here that it is a gray power that just stays.

I modified my handy shipping cart to hold the second welder as well. I’ll get fancy hooks and whatnot put on to hold the wires.

The one complaint I have so far about the welder is a slight delay between when I pull the trigger on the gun to when it actually starts to feed. We are talking half a second or so, but it still took some time to adjust to.
This would be for exactly what you describe. Flux core only and something that could be run wherever it might be needed. For the price, the Forney seems like something to have.?@mbryson The Forney and Lincoln in that review look like flux core only unless I'm missing something? I've never heard of Weldpro; Eastwood seems to have mixed reviews on their equipment but I've never owned anything of theirs personally. I'd go for the Hobart out of the lot if the Forney and Lincoln really are flux only.
Found a Hobart 110. It's on its way
I had the 110. It served me well for many years. One piece of advice. Lock down your wire spool before transporting the welder. The wire will tend to unroll while traveling. When it does, it has the chance to short out the positive and negative connections. If this happens and you power it up, it’ll blow your diodes.
I’m a slow learner, I did this twice.
