I can only hope so I'll be disappointed if he doesn't considering he signed the .05 into law which I believe is a complete joke.
Did it get signed??
Different topic but I laugh when people claim it will hurt tourism and make Utah look backward. When I was in Norway last year they warned us immediately their strict laws (0.02). I don't drink but it didn't seem to others- they just plan other ways home.
i don't think it'll hurt tourism people will still come and it won't reduce alcohol related deaths either. The people between .05-.08 are not the problem it's the .08 and above and our justice system that holds no one accountable for there actions.
Spot on. The alcohol legislation is a revenue generator.
I'm starting to think that the removal of inspections is going to get the UHP more revenue on fix-it tickets as well. I'm imagining them getting a little extra hyper on pulling people over for tints and such.
If your rig is legal/legit then folks have nothing to worry about, sounds logical to me. Yesterday I watched a Bountiful PD officer pull over a JK for what appeared to be big tires with no flaps, glad he was doing his job and can only hope they do it more.

I bet you break no laws, ever.
maybe you were following to close did you have the proper 2 second space between you and them? No, I haven't broken any laws in years as it pertains to vehicles and general driving safety, I guess I kind of grew up. I suppose having a family does that to you, and I suppose wanting safe and legal cars on the road falls under keeping my family safe. And before you ask, I have had 2 windshields chipped or cracked by other vehicles that should have had flares or flaps installed that would have prevented it.
