I have owned numerous Ford and Dodge diesels and this is my first Duramax and I don't think I will ever go back!

I know it's a half ton, but it pulls well and is easy to get around town in. I average 10 MPG pulling the load in the trailer. I have have done a few upgrades since the photo such as Pro4x Wheels and BFG tires, K&N intake, toolbox, bug deflector and such.

Me and my gf bought this today.. It's a gasser though 5 speed with 2 speed rear end. 37,000 miles on it deck on trailer is 26 foot so we will need to make some ramps on front for the front rig on the trailer to make space for both rigs .. Will be tight but should work

Sold our 2005 Dodge Cummins and went with 2004 Chevy 2500 HD, Duramax with Allisons auto tranny. Pretty high miles- 315k, but process freed up a bunch of cash.

Money talks! How do you like it?

I thought I had posted here before, but a search says no. Here's a pic of mine, pulling junk of the smaller and faster variety. Wish I would have taken a pic last weekend, when I had the little jeep behind the big jeep. Just added one from last spring.

My last post in here is no longer valid, as I had sold that truck and got a new (to me) one a year ago. I'll see if I can find a good pic. I will most likely keep this truck til it dies which I hope is in a very, very long time.

Same goes for me. But I usually don't have the same vehicle that I previously mentioned. This time I will keep it though. It is a 2013 Tundra. Rock warrior edition and I have ordered my ome lift from Kurt already. But they're back ordered.

By the time the lift kit comes in, you'll have sold it to sixstringsteve, who will have modified it, wheeled it on several trips, sold it, and be halfway through a 15-page build thread on a Sequoia.

Here's ours getting ready to come back from our favorite place. No, not the Spanish Trail Arena wise guys, Moab in general. Average about 12-14 mpg with camper and trailer doing the speed limit (of course) depending on which way the wind is blowing.
