I work as the Marketing and Public Affairs Director for one of the largest employers in the United States. That said, the Pittsburgh Steelers, argumentatively one of the largest, if not the largest marketed team in the NFL. Whether you are for or against, what Marketing Director in their right mind would support this decision and alienate half, give or take, of their fan base. Sports don't belong in politics and politics need to stay out of sports
