Little Sahara, had to be around '96 or '97, on a side note Scott and I met Von and Carl on one of these trips as they were really impressed with what we had done to the cruisers. Shoe's on the other foot now...

The Hibachi! As it turns out Gary eventually owned DJ's 40 too, not too much has changed on it since those pics. Gary later sold it to Levi, DJ's son. As the birfield turns..

I spy Howard and Darrell there too. Howards is almost identical to that and Darrels has gone through some revisions but keeps the same overall look.

~1995 or 1996. I was only 8 or 9, but this was from one of my first trips to Moab. My dad rockin the mustache.

1999 I believe. Still before I could drive haha. My brother parked on Rock Pile....back when it was actually a rock pile.

this is my 98 expedition before the 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires going down rose garden hill... the second pic is of us going thru onion Creek (last year they did that) and the last two are running top of the world

I got a little strap help from this rig in that same spot, had to be really close to the same time. I was in a white Scrambler at the time and had just finished replacing the starter which went out on the Rock Pile the day before.
Had to hike it in from the beginning of the trail, in July/August (I think, all I remember is it was really hot to be hiking with a starter and lots of water in a backpack)
