Looks real good! You should look into steel edging if your not doing any curbing. It keeps a nice clean edge between you flower area and grass.
Thanks guys!
I've got plastic lawn edging 96% done in the backyard. My goal for the frontyard includes removing most if not all of the rocks that were intended for lawn edging (rocks are horrible for this), and replace with lawn edging... and reuse the rocks for the water feature in the backyard.
Saturday was a long day, 6:30am to 10:30pm. Stopped by Ileans to borrow wheel barrow, got all the sod laid in less than 2 hours, edged and trimmed sod, trimmed the bottom of the double gate, fixed/replaced a few sprinkler items, adjusted front/back sprinklers, cleared northeast corner for dog run, moved dog run, cleared/prepped 200sq ft of front yard for extra sod, laid extra sod. I bought seed to overseed the rest of the frontyard.. Might look funny for awhile, but it should look good by next spring.
It's wild to think what this yard was 2 months ago. My dog really really wants to go back there, but the lawn is soaking like Brett's sheets.
Speaking of soaking the lawn, right now I have the lawn scheduled to run for 25minutes on the 3 lawn stations starting at 2am every day this week. I also have it set for each station to run for 10-15minutes starting around 10am each day this week.. Is that good to keep the lawn soaked for the first week? Too much? Too little? Perfect? Thoughts....?
