I've been thinking of 108 with 40s and a belly height of about 20 unless I can get my belly flat. I hear its tough on jeeps. If I can get it flat it'd be around 24 inches, which if still lower than the yota.

A lot of people have mentioned to me that their belly height is 24" and they all wish it was lower, even with flat bellies.

I think KC's FJ was about 24" when he first built it, and he didn't like it that high, then he took it to J4F and they built him a flat aluminum belly plate and lowered it to like 21" and he likes it a ton better.

I'm at 106" with 39.5" and a 19" belly. It's pretty stable side hilling and climbs stuff well.
That being said... I need more belly height to make eagles nest.
but I'd like to push the front end out 2" more to get a better approach angle. I think I would need more steering angle for comp stuff though if I stretched it any further

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I think 10 would be pushing it. Even more so if you stuck with leafs. If you did go for 10 inches, what would you do for the front. You need to it go forward if just to make it look right.

I don't think I'll be staying leafs in the rear now. I think to stretch it I'll just go straight to links and coils rather than doing it twice. The front is pushed forward 2 inches already but it will eventually go forward more once I link the front. I am thinking that I want to just start with the rear so I can get my corner guard blanks installed and cut.

I'd leave the front alone for now if it's already 2" forward. I don't think 10" is bad at all for the rear. It will be a trailer queen unless you do some major body work.

my old YJ was at 106" and I thought that was ideal, so i started out building my buggy at 108", after wheeling with a few buddies in the 110-112" range, i decided to push it out, so I ended up at 112" and i LOVE IT, it is so stupid stable, and with the RCV's in the front 60 i can turn super sharp with out binding, and having a twin stick allows me to front dig it by just standing on the brakes and letting it turn on a dime, i have no issues to date of being too long and wishing i was shorter for more manuverability.
