I think that it worked out better than this year :-\

From what I have heard (was not able to be there myself) the area is clean, and people are happy, but it would be nice to distribute the load around a little, and it would be cool to have enough sign up that we can support more than one area.

I think it looked great this year, I just wasn't sure what the plans were thus it felt unorganized to me I was really surprised to show up and no one (from RME) was there on the big clean-up day. Luckily a large chunk of all the place was cleaned up I think by inmates, maybe 10 Large orange bags full. Really it wasn't all that bad when we arrived.
Sara couldn't say enough good about Blacksheep. She was impressed and definately felt really good about RME, and in general happy about the effort.
I know she talked about a few things like rocks being placed and fences repaired in order to keep people more in line.
All in all we had a good experience and I am more than happy to wake up early to get out and help the cause I'm sure others feel the same and would show up especially if they signed up. I appreciate all you have done to organize the cleanup with the port a potties and the dumpster.

nice to see this thread turn from a discussion of the jackasses at PSH to the angels of PSH.

Good on ya to be out there. Ryan (my nephew) and I were out there monday thru friday at 7ish am and there really wasn't that much trash. We usually spent 45 min - 1 hour picking up small stuff. I really think there are some people who spent time picking up the place in the afternoons, and I know I saw the police had placed a large number of orange trash bags around the area. I'm sure that went a long way to helping keep the place clean(er).

The really big days are saturday and sunday (Easter) morning. Unfortunately, I'm well on my way home by then, but the big group on sunday is a big hit with Sara.

Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way.
