I'm intending to run this on my JT. It "should" fit but not by much. New front bumper required (that'll be welcome).

I wouldn't exactly endorse the Vijay bumpers on my JT. The front will be for sale soon and I'll get to deal with KSL folk for that.

Reasons to go with the Power Wagon winch... None really. It was available. VR will likely go on my "CJ" (I'd like a low profile M9000 or similar for it but we'll do one thing at a time)

Anyway, the mounting position is a bit unique on the Power Wagon leading to an awkward release. I pulled the 10 Allen bolts (3/16 Allen) and clocked the release then reassembled. Things still seem to work fine.

Current issue is to get a more accessible controller access point. Also figure out where the black ground wire goes on the winch motor.

I have a great work bench and live test battery here. 1699671898810794560094181342657.jpg

With the ground wire not attached, I get a click from the remote. Now researching to figure out where to attach the ground wire to.

Ran the ground to the motor. Winch works!

Now, it's time to disassemble the Vijay bumper and VR on the JT.

Why not run it on the "CJ" like you talked about? Or does @Kevin B. still need a winch for his Ex?
I've got the m12000 I picked up from @Johnny Quest waiting to go on. Probably about the same winch?

Edit - what is that Powerwagon winch, Marc? I've got an Engo 10000 with synthetic chilling on the F150 that's probably a little lower profile?

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
FYI: The Warn VR EVO 10k is $420 from Northridge, and Warn has a $150 rebate (online form, visa gift card) going on right meow… a helluva deal at $270 for a Warn. Throw on a synthetic rope of your choice from the rainforest and you’ve got a great setup for around $350…
Mine got delivered yesterday 😉
Thanks for the heads up. My wife just told me she was saving to buy me a new suit for Christmas. I told her I need a winch instead. This is mucho bettero. Ordered!

After seeing this, went online, ordered the winch, and submitted for the rebate. Thanks for the tip!!
