How's that Warn solenoid work out? (have you used it?) I made my own using 4 40 amp relays, but I imagine that integrated solenoid would be cleaner and quicker.

Cleaner, quicker, yes, and makes it so you can hook a regular controller to it, but over $100. If yours works,, all the better. I think I may end up just installing the warn on my trailer.

Looks nice! Maybe we'll see you down in Moab this weekend and I can look at it closer :greg:

Cool, where will you be? We're leaving on Thursday about noon and staying at the LaQuinta Thurs and Friday nights. I'm meeting some friends from Iowa, Ohio, and Illinios. Nothing hard planned at this time, and even doing the White Rim Trail and camping on Sat night. Wish I had a trailer like Kurt's for this one.

I'm hoping to run Pritchet on Friday, but don't know if I'll get any takers on that one.

Yakinaked and I with some other friends are staying at Canyonlands Campground in town. We are still trying to figure out what we are doing Friday. I know that Prichett is going to have a ton of Grand Cherokee's on it friday (Grand Slam West) so, watch out.

We're supposed to take some out of state guys around on trails, but no clue what to do yet. Any other trails you might run Friday? If you're game to get out somewhere on friday, we might be able to. We've got two buggies (sort of) and two XJ's with 33's and rear lockers. :p Mallcrawler included!

It's raining in Fruita right now and we had some fall lastnight, today was great weather. If this trend holds, you guys will be in for perfect Moab weather.

The temps got up to 105*. HOT, dang hot. Funny thing was the motor sat for about 3 years before I put it in two years ago. I did hook up all the a/c stuff but didn't think it would hold pressure because I didn't change the o rings. Decided to give it test before we left knowing the temps would be warn and to my surpise, I now have working a/c. : ) Love it.

My jeep has no AC and I roasted :(. It was VERY hot Friday when we did Poison Spider. My white hardtop did help a bit but we were toasted by the time we were done. At dinner we downed about 6 pitchers of ice water even though we drank plenty of water on the trail. Saturday was a bit cooler for our ride up elephant hill which was fun. There weren't many people on the trails, on Elephant hill and Fins and Things we didn't see anyone. On Poison Spider we ran into one group from Grand Slam West but no one else. When the trail leader from the GSW group came by his lower control arm was looking loose and I should have said something because he lost the control arm mounting bolt just before the waterfall and they were fixing it when we went out. Not sure if any of you saw our group, I was in my blue scrambler and my brothers were in their yellow and orange Rubicon unlimiteds. We also had some friends that were in a white TJ, white Grand Cherokee and maroon built up land cruiser. The son of the guy with the cruiser also showed up with his tubed out CJ for Saturday but his new rig had too many technical difficulties on the trail to finish.

We didn't see you guys, or many others. Friday morning we did Metal Masher and saw a small group on our way over to Widow Maker. Saturday morning we did a quick trip on Prichett to Rocker Knocker and back out. Both of these obstacles (Widow Maker and Rocker Knocker) kicked my butt last year but were pretty easy this year with the new stretch. I was really pleased with the new suspension and how the rig is working now.

Saturday afternoon we headed out camping on the White Rim trail and camped at Murphy's. Glad we didn't get there until about 8 at night. We left the group at about 9 a.m. Sunday morning and were back on the trailer at the Schaefer overlook at noon.

That Grand that lost that bolt was probably Cody's. He was actually on Prichett and let the guy borrow his ZJ. From what I've read, he broke his Grand on Wipeout hill the previous day.....

Okay, this is too funny. When Skippy pulled up the LJT2 project I had go back and reminisce on the original LTJ project. I get to the bottom of page 2 and there's my current YJ. Too funny. Now I understand a couple of things I was wondering about. Small world.
