OK so one of us is way off... could be me, but the listed FSB is quad pumped, no? The actual FSB is 1066Mhz/4= 266Mhz.
I am running the Intel D 805 2.66Ghz CPU. The listed FSB is 533Mhz. 533Mhz/4= 1.33FSB. I am positive that this is the working FSB on this chip. CPUz and Bios verified. The 805 is 133Mhz x 20 (cpu multiplier)= the rated 2.66Ghz
I also have a 3Ghz prescott that is listed at 800 FSB, once again quad pumped from 200 FSB
I don't have an E6700 but I would bet that it is running a 266Mhz FSB with a 10x multiplier to get to 2.6Ghz
Like I said Maybe I am way off...but I don't think so.
