Just got back from the Snakes with the Dirtheadz and Teraflex crew, man there was a lot of people out today. Ran with Shawn and co-pilot Meat had a good day kinda like Easter on the Snakes. Shawns rig did awesome until Eagles nest where he lost his steering. There was alot of carnage tire t-cases, axles few other mishaps. I got only a couple of pictures my camera was in my rig what seemed like miles down the trail. Should be alot of pics out there I'm sure people will post up as they get home.

You should have titled this

"Interstates Rattle Snake and Constrictor!"

MAN there were a lot of people up there!

I went up with a few guys on here. Got to watch the Tera-flax Rock Stack championships at the first real obstacle on the CON. MAN those people were chucking everything they could get their hands on. I thought they were going to pave it next. Of course with typical rock stackers they shot rocks out all over the place too. Very scary group in my not so humble opinion.

Had a great time, enjoyed watching the folks who actually made it up WW, and I was able to go a few harder places than I typically will try, because there were folks to pull me should I need a strap. Happy to report that I did not need a strap at all.

I did see a fellow snap his front axle on the Nest. I can also confirm that the line to get to the nest had to be at least half a mile long.

Had a great time, and enjoyed seeing everyone out there today. It does, however, make me look forward to the day when the other trails in the area open, thus fewer people per trail... :)

I took a TON of pics and video with Shawn's camera, including a bunch rolling down the trail with Warn steering..... unfortunately it was Shawn's camera so we will never see any of them. :shawn:

I mean, thanks for the ride Shawn :)

Rich, you forgot to mention the guy who rolled his dad's pretty black TJ on Radiator Rapids

Shawn's camera was too far down the trail.... a bunch of peeps took pics, some might be on here, T+ might do a trip report....

Meat, yeah bummer. My wife and kid and I were back tracking from the Nest, and went right past Shawn when he went to move his FJbuggy. I did not see you, however, so I guess we missed out. Sadly I do not actually know Shawn, so I just said hello as I went on by.

It was a fun day!

OH and yeah, again I will second the extremely long walk back. Too bad I missed the TJ flop. I watch the two 4 door unlimited Rubicons doing a whole lot of nothing trying to get up the, I believe it is what you call, radiator rapids. (right before the nest) I had heard there were a few good flops today.

Did you see that green jeep trying to get up the nest? Broke his front end in the process.

I was actually thinking about going up the nest today, given that I have never actually gone out that way, but no way I was going to wait that long for a chance to get a tug up there...

I just missed the break on the nest, got up there when they were trying to winch him up. The TJ flop was a few before the 4dr JKs and yes that was Radiator Rapids. I walked from the nest to the tailings pile ;) changing the winch line from one high steer arm to the other every 1.78ft :rofl:

You know Rich, I did not even recognize your rig. I saw a blue toy, but I only have seen the pict in your user account, so, if it had a top on it I MIGHT have made the connection. Then again, with the dozens of people up there I could not really have figured out which one was you.

I was the guy holding the one year old boy. If you recall that.

Yeah, again, if I had known you were there I would have liked to have said hello.

Oh, and come on yall! There have been a lot of people looking at this, with only one photo! sucks...

I know, I know, I never take pictures either, but that is because I was driving...:D

I guess seeing that there are no pic that this whole trip was staged in some deranged young mans head.... then sent to his other deranged friend over the super secret internet so that is looked like someone actually went fourwheeling!


Like they say no pictures it never happened...
