My boss was just going on and on in our group chat about how having it snow today is better for our flood situation. I said “STOP THE SNOW AND BRING ON THE FLOODS!” and now she’s mad 🤣
She said “I hope you don’t live in a flood zone” and I said “I don’t, I was careful about that when I bought my house- as everyone should be.” 🤷🏼‍♂️

Got an email about flooding preparation and there was some statistic about you are 3x more likely to be affected by flood than fire... My 3x evacuated for fire house questions if it doesn't apply to me.

We’ve got a lot of runoff water flowing thru our ranch in Morgan County…..with feet of snow still yet to melt. Threw some sandbags last night in some key areas. Definitely having 1983 flashbacks.

Paid attention to the Green when I crossed the bridge this morning. A quick glance says it’s come up 4-6 feet in the last day or so. It’s currently discharging at 6,210cfs which is 122% above normal.
