Hi I'm a newb here. I would love to join up with you guys the next time you go skate. I'm an old school skater, and had a fairly big ramp in Ogden. 10.5" transitions, 1.5" of vert, and 32" wide. Been a long time since I have been. would love to go out again.
Went to AZ for Christmas and hit up a few local parks..
The Reed wheels park in Mesa.
Pretty fun but the flat bottom was too wide in the main park,
the transitions were way too steep in places
and the flat bottom in the bowl was really short.
Then I went over to the Chandler park which was way fun. The only odd thing was there wasn't much coping around the edges of the transition. Kinda like pool style.
yea, if your just learning to ride go to the trax station on 3200 west in west jordan fun place to learn to ride, always dry and super smooth. also downtown and up around the u are my favorite places to skate. there is a group of us that usually meet at the walker center and skate around downtown all night. hit me up if you ever wanna go long boarding.
