Obviously everything is flexible, but what is an approximate estimated end time? Just looking at scheduling.

Let me put it a different way; I'd need to be back at the jumping off point by 3 in the afternoon (or earlier). With the route in mind would that be fairly doable (even if we need to head back a little earlier than the group if there is some exploring going on) or are we only going to be halfway around the mountain by then?

There's pumps at the bar in Vernon, but no credit card reader and I don't know their hours. Nearest gas in any other direction would be Eureka, Stockton, or Eagle Mountain.

I think regardless of what we end up doing, if you need to be back by 3, that should be easy. We'll be mostly trying to avoid the main roads, in search of untracked snow, but the main roads will never be far away if you just need to bail. Doubtful we'll get more than an hour from the starting point if using the fastest route. Whole thing could be over by 3 for all I know.
But until we get out there and see what's what with the snow conditions, hard to say what route we'll even end up taking. Got a few ideas that might work, but just going to play it all by ear.

I have an extra handheld radio that you would be welcome to use.

Radio is purely optional. You're totally fine without one. Nice to have for trail comms though. So I'd take the offer to borrow one. I'll bring extra too. But we'll have enough of them to make sure the lead vehicles circle the wagons and don't just keep going if a non radio vehicle further back we cant see needs help.

I got the same issue, my family is spreading the flu around to each other. I went from a for sure to a maybe.
Eeek. Luckily we're just dealing with colds and coughs that don't allow sleep.. I'll take that over the flu. Good luck man.
Of course I just found out that I'm needed tat work this Saturday too, so it was clearly not meant to be.
