To sum up the 14 pages of the other thread:
1. What, Old type retro rock crawl typical 2001 & 2002.
2. Date, May 23 & 24.
3. Place, Delta Utah Fair Grounds.
4. Cost, free to competitors, spectators and sponsors. Free camping on site.
5. Donations gratefully accepted from all, but not required.
6. All proceeds to be donated to land use to keep your trails open.
7. Three classes, Street Stock, Legend, Unlimited (nobody will be turned away).
8. Rules, similar to 2001 & 2002 rock crawling rules (rules in progress).
9. Competition limited to about 100 vehicles (registration info coming).
10. Pre-event activities possible, show & shine, burn out contest, sand drag, Bar-B-Que, trail ride (you tell me).
The main thing..... everybody needs to have a good time and raise some cash to fight the greenies and keep our trails open.
Make sure and give me some feedback on the above items in case I screwed something up. I am going to meet with the Millard County Attorney and get something in writing for the event so that things can't change at the last minute. I also need some sort of insurance policy to protect myself from liability issues in case of an accident (stuff happens).
I almost forgot, we need a name for this. Don't be afraid to sound off, we will vote for the name when we get some suggestions to choose from.
