I was happy to see it come off as well as it did, and was totally stoked with most of the night. It was fun being back on a course, even if I wasn't competing. There are some things that will make it better, but overall, it was a great event. The Hanks vs Jimmy race was great.

I think RockCross will be a big hit, especially on other courses that are a little more open, but after watching the excitement at RMR, I hope they can modify the venue a bit, and keep it coming.

Nate was the most consistant driver of the night and deserved the win. Not many people knew his motor could have gone at any time. He said he'd drive it until it put a hole in the block and thank goodness it lastest to the last race. Great night, great racing, great event.

I agree with the zig zag part, but at RMR it just doesn’t lend itself to it. For example, if I zig from South to North I use space at the bottom, leaving no place for a return. Zig zaggin along the face is not as easy as you might think once you begin to lay out the route. We have to close a loop and keep teams from crashing into each other when they should be on different locations on the track. RMR is just so narrow. I am really excited about Phoenix though; there is plenty of room I believe there. The tall hill that was weak in rockcrawling will be stronger in RockCross (with some work on the backside) It has room on the back for a really cool, fast sweeping turn. We are looking for some loamy dirt if anyone has leads. They have silt down there.

Here are a couple of videos Brad Lovell posted on Pirate. I thnk the first one shows Craig doing a little drive over on Brad's rig. :D These give you a taste of the action. Jociam Schiesow of Twisted Customs actually
barrel rolls in both races and lands on his wheels.
