Just a note to say I totally respect the desire for a quiet time. I'm looking forward to hearing the sounds of the desert too. This will be my first time in one. I personally love playing music in the nature and have never had the privelidge to play in a desert before. During one of the days I will sneak off while folks are hiking and record something in private. If you guys wanna hear something, thats cool, if not that's totally cool too

If I remember correctly, last time I went camping with Broseph it was nice and quiet and peaceful in the Unitas... except for Joseph's stereo, which was on more than it was not. Just sayin.
But I must admit that he has good taste in music.

Thanks Kurt. It's your passion for the Swell that made me decide I needed to get out there and try it. Much thanks for your help in planning the route and understanding current conditions out there.

The Swell is one of my favorite places as well, that's why I got excited when I saw this trip being planned. I vowed to get down during 2011 and do the Eagle Canyon/Eva Conover/Devils Racetrack/Swazey Cabin Loop. Didn't happen, closest we got was a short trip to the Wedge during the Relic Run. Lookin' like I'll have some time off this spring/summer, so hopefully I can get down there for some green jeep exploration action.
