I doubt I have to stop, but.... I'd hate to get pulled over in East Guam, Kansas or something for violating some rule. The couple times I've driven military vehicles, there have been no problems. :D :D

GVW empty is like 13.5k or something ludicrous like that.

Don't worry, East Guam, Kansas is not between Tooele and Colorado.

Here, I made a map for you. Notice Kansas is not between Tooele and Colorado.

I know KrisK works (or worked) at one, try PMing him.

Yeah I still work at the Daniels POE.

Sounds like your just taking a truck to sell to someone right? If so you would probably just need a trip ( temp registration ) for the state you will be traveling in. You can call me if you want, I'm at work tonight 435-654-1091.

A friend of mine and I bought a deuce once and we drove it from OK to Co, (Through KS) and had no problems with weigh stations, just flat tires.

rockmonkey, great map.

if you're not a commercial vehicle, then you don't have to do jack.

if you have a gvwr of 10K+ or a gcwr ov 26K+ and you're commercial, you stop. gcwr is combined weight of truck and any trailer.

just had to register a 3/4 dodge as a corporate vehicle, and went through the same stuff. gcwr is only 20k, so no need to be a commercial vehicle.

oh yeah. I did miss that LOL

My scan powers are weak lately. I'm not taking this thing into UT though, so no worries. :D

But you are traveling in UT. Better make sure everythings fine here before worrying about CO. It sounds like you've done this before so you shouldn't have any problems.
