Snakes Jan 9th

I'll be doing rattlesnake on Jan 9th. It'll be snowy, but that'll just make it more fun. Reply if you want to come.

The Wasatch Cruisers will be running it that day as well, I'm guessing between 15-20 rigs. We'll try and allow smaller groups to slip past us when possible.

How far away is it? Would like to go but would have to drive the samurai out there, it is kind of slow engine limits speed at about 60 to 65! Would just trailer it but tow rig is uninsured, kind of poor just starting a new job.

You can make it. It'd be a bit of a drive though. Once you get off the freeway the speed limits don't go over 65 to get there anyway.


We will be meeting early, at 8 AM at the 4-corners Chevron on redwood road. I don't want to take the entire day, so meeting earlier will still allow me to get some stuff done in the evening.

If we run into the wasatch cruisers, even better. THe more the merrier, and I've been wanting to see a bunch of their rigs anyway.

You should ask Kurt (CruiserOutfitters) or some of the other wasatch cruisers guys. I'm sure they've got some. How did you strip your axles?

Almost everything on rattlesnake was do-able in my rig waynes world was a no-go i tried but it was just too slick. Constrictor was almost untouched, there were a few tire tracks in the beginning but we broke the trail until just before rattlesnake rapids then we turned around. Im sure i could have made it up to the nest but it would have taken a while and possibly a little winching. But its Do-Able. the snow is a good foot and a half deep up towards the the top of constrictor.
