Been making more progress. Some of the glass is in, more trim is on, and I set the passenger fender in place just to see how it looked with all of the body panels on.
The head unit is made by Retrosounds. It fits the stock dash holes so no need to hack anything up. It looks reasonably correct and offers modern features like Bluetooth.
The vintage air unit doesn’t leave much room for a glove box. Maybe 2-1/2” deep or so. I’ll be putting a console in so I have more than 4 cubic inches of interior storage space.
