It probably had Mexico plates in it, I've seen that a handful of times with cars that aren't offered in the States or don't meet the year requirements.

www.carfromjapan.com has all kinds of cool vehicles but I'm not sure what has to be done to register them here. I was mainly looking at micro-vans like the Honda Acty but got lost in that site for hours, including Jimny's.

Exactly my thought.

The owner is a power sports dealer so not sure if that plays into any registration loopholes or not. But my thoughts are eventually it will be picked up on and the result won’t be good.
