Also, what is the firewood plan? I can bring a bunch but someone else will have to haul it. I don't think it will fit very well in my backpack.

Thanks for the offer, but I am pulling a trailer in case a jeep breaks down, we can haul it back and the trailer is long enough to hold the bike.If you are just bringing jeeps and don't want to deal with a trailer I might be able to fit the WR in the taco with my bike.
Here is my count for sure:
Russ (myself) TJ/WR450
Jaxon (son) LJ
Harrison (son) Emax
Keith (FIL) drive my TJ
Cam (nephew) TJ
Blair (neice)
possible:
Dallas (friend) WR450
Spencer (Dallas' son) ride in jeep with Harrison
Hunter (Jaxon's friend)
Thats 3 jeeps and two motorcycles.

I'm not sure on coverage, I imagine (with it being as popular of an area as it is) that there is coverage in Bullfrog Marina.Does anyone know if they have 3G cell service in Bullfrog area?
For those going, my cell is 801-two zero one-5 eight nine one
Ok, so it looks like it is $25 each way on the ferry plus another $15 for the rec. pass? The rec pass is needed to run the trail? So I will need to keep it with the bike? Or is it needed to park the vehicle at the trailhead? Or both? Maybe I should call the park. I am seriously considering driving around and saving the $50 ferry fee. I will do some checking and see if I can get the answers to these questions and update this post.
Edit: Ok, I just spoke to someone at the GCNRA and they were very helpful. There is an entrance fee of $15 for the jeeps but a single rider on a motorcycle is only $7. This is a very good map of the NRA boundaries. It looks like the trailhead is not inside the NRA. Where exactly is the "trailhead"? I see the road but at what point is the usual parking/unloading spot? Also, there has been some talk of parking at the airport? Is that the tentative plan right now? I am for sure going to drive around to avoid the ferry fee. I will purchase my pass at Hite. To purchase a pass there or at halls crossing is done using an automated (credit card only) machine and the rep. I spoke to said that they have been having problems. He said that if the machine was inoperable that I should not go out of my way to try and pay. Do you guys want to meet at the airport? You should get there somewhere between 9:30 and 10:00 if you are on the 9:00 ferry I would think.
