From what I hear your wifes a trooper, any woman wheeling to let you spend a ton a time to build a rig, with all the time and money it takes is a women worth having especially if shes willin to go wheelin with ya. My wife loves it and more often then not would be in the shop with me while I was building my Sammy.

Also the Date for the Show n Shine will be 9/11 not Oct. sorry, im partially retarded most of the time, so things dont always come out the way my brain wants it to.:-\

Steve, I cant believe you chopped up that good looking truck!! It looks good youll probly be happier wheelin it than your Taco tho. Is it gonna be ready for the LROR show n shine in Oct?

I swear everyone I talk to says the same thing to me... Yet there are a ton of these and none of them are in good shape... Pictures do so much justice... BTW I am back in town

Dang, it's going to be hard to get it completed by 9/11, but I'll do my best. I'm getting closer though, so it's looking like a possibility. Is it down at Low Range in Provo? I need to get driveshafts and exhaust, then the rest depends on how hard I work. I really want it done by the end of this month.

Yea itll be at the shop, we want as many rigs as we can get even if they gotta be trailored in. There will be a mass email going out and flyers posted at all the local auto stores, and posts on all the forums. Plus Sean wants to do a swap meet also so bring any parts you mite wanna sale or trade, and Seans also reserved a big monster truck bounce house for the day for all the kids and me:D

You better have it done by 9/11 Steve! I'll come down every weekend if I have too. Haha.

So new friend, when are we going wheeling anyway? You bring the wife and I'll bring my girlfriend and they can chat it up all day while we wheel!

I'd need a semi to bring all the parts I want to sell/trade. Maybe I'll just take pictures of them and bring the pictures.

Careful what you offer Eric, I may just take you up on it!

Here's my plan:

Mon: paint the bed, finish cutting off the old t-case mounts
Tues: Make new t-case mounts for the flat belly
Wed: Can't work on the truck because of guitar lessons
Thursday: work on tranny tunnel and fix the back of the cab.
Friday: Finish Tranny tunnel, possibly think about mocking up a gas tank mount for the larger tank.
Saturday: Steering. Mount steering box. Mount PS pump. Lengthen steering shaft. Possibly mock up the hydro assist (If there's time).

Next week: finish up all these things I didn't get the week before.

that's insane! That's a good idea though. I just need a longer disc to get into where I need. I'll be ok with my 4.5" angle grinder for now, it'd just be easier with a bigger one.

Gotcha. I thought it sounded like you. Glad you found my thread. Even though I said you need 33's to go on that trip on the 10th, you can still come, you'll be fine. We just had a few people that were under-prepared last time and it slowed the group down a lot.

You gotta get a picture of that sami up in your avatar.
