you should be jealous, it's amazing :p

I've still got a ton to do. Bob bed, sliders, mount seats and seat belts, mud flaps. Then it'll at least be streetable. Then comes the exo...

yeah. the exo is probably about 6 months out. I'm taking it easy now. I'm only spending one or two hours a night working on the truck, not 6-8 anymore.

I'm trying to make it down to Moab on the 15-17th, but I've gotta get a tow situation figured out by then. i'd love to have my taco sold by then and have my new tow rig, but I can't count on it for sure. But I REALLY want to see what she can do in Moab.

Me and a group of guys will be down in Moab during the 15th-17th. I have a question for you, in your original goals for this build you mentioned that the main purpose for building this was for it to be streetable. Why the sudden change to have to tow it?

The sudden change came when I saw how capable this rig is and how fun it was to really push it. It'd be a LONG ride to moab in a 22r. I could do it, but I'd rather tow it. I guess the change came from me realizing how much fun it was to drive such a capable rig, and I want to drive more and more now, and a trailer will allow that to happen. I still want it streetable though. I'm still going to register it yearly and keep it street legal.

Made a bit more progress on the bob.

These are to help me align the rear part when I tack it back on:

Drilled some holes and rosette welded them.

At this point I was thinking to myself that I had bobbed too much.

Then I realized it was PERFECT. It's funny how a little bob can totally change the look of a truck. I'm obviously not done with the bob, I just tacked it in place so it wouldn't fall off.
