Ha! That's how I feel. I took the air filter off today and looked at it and thought to myself...I hope that helped. Haha! I'll probably end up doing a re swap or maybe a gotpropane kit...possibly.

Where is the float?

Okay the float is inside the bowl and it is attached to a little piece that looks like a upside down plumb bob you use to center stuff when building, it sounds like thsi is gettting stuck or you have a vaccum leak. Take off the bowl and clean the hinge and everything in there, then if it still presist do a soapy spray bottle test allover the intake side to see if there is a leak

Nope. I haven't had a chance yet. I've been playing football and watching football all day. Did you ever change the filter while you had it?

That is pretty cool. I didn't even know. I guess I'll have to sign up over there. I've been out of town but I had a buddy working on the carb. The fuel issue was the actuator pump. He said it's running like a champ now. Hopefully that true when I get home.

TTORA is generally more for Tacoma stuff in my opinion. Marlin and pirate are two great forums you should join. On marlin they won't like you cuz your rig has so many trail gear parts (their competitor), but they'll love you again because you've got a sweet 1st gen.

Ha. I love the truck!! No doubt about it. I told Steve for so long that I wanted it and taht I'd buy it when my jeep sold. But I had like 3 buyers back out on me. I didn't want to be one of those guys that doesn't keep his word and his Miata was almost gone. So I went ahead and just bought it. The wife just says that one of them has to go. I'd rather my jeep go obviously because I've had it for sale forever and the truck is new to me. I have never had anything crawl like the 81 does. I also don't want to put it back for sale on here and have it gone quick. I'm trying my best to keep it. That's why it's not listed locally. I just had to make it look like I was making an effort.
