Stinger or no?

Mocked up the hood line today. I had originally planned on a stinger, but now I am not so sure.

Oh I forgot, I have seen some decent stingers out there. They are usually smaller though and may not even qualify under the "compensator" category that stingers usually fall into.

I'm glad that I am not the only one alive that hates that thing...
If I were to add one, it would be just taller than the front of the engine and about a 60 deg angle.

Yes on the stinger, they can minimize damage in a rollover, or even prevent it, and support the rad upside down.

It can be argued that they cause a rollover too, don't want to go down that road again. Are two rollover situations ever exactly the same? no...

I'd vote no to the stinger. A properly done radiator hoop, yes.

The radiator will be mounted in the rear, so it will have plenty of protection. Does that make any difference?
