I'd go with a winch hoop maybe but no bonner bar :)

And not to hyjack but what's wrong with the PSC tail stinger/tire carrier? I like the idea of not worying about a swing away spindle failure and a 100 lbs tire bouncing down I-15

Cody say's they're gay but keep in mind this is a guy who wears pilot shades and has Knoxsville for a title shot! Does it get any more homo?

In your absence, I've been given my very own smiley. It's very appropriate for times like this

I'm assuming you're just messing with us. I don't know you well enough to say either way. I hope you are though.

I could see one in the rear to keep from taking your spare tire out when comming down steep obstacles like white knuckle and such.

Here is my major beef with stingers (other than they look completely rediculous). I've never seen a hard endo with a stinger where the stinger didn't fold or make the rollover worse by kicking the rig into some sort of inverted arial. Very few of them are supported well enough to stop the momentum and hold a 4000-5500 lb vehicle that is going over.

I know personally, there are many situations I was in in my old buggy that would have been made much worse had I had a stinger. The stinger would have either stopped my progress by digging into the ground or pitched me onto my side instead of letting my rears come back down square as I roll out of something.

and they look rediculous. Did I mention that yet? almost as bad as exo's on cherokees.

square headlights look rediculous. when i go back my stinger balances me i sit right on the back im stuck for the most part but not rolled over, i mainly use the front as a wedge when goin up walls (such as widowmaker) it lifts the front up and and makes it easier than slamin a bumper

Eh, square headlights don't bother me so much.

If the stinger follows the entrance angle exactly, then ok...maybe on a SWB you'll find 50/50 situations where you would be better off with or without it. but if you have a rig with a vertical entrance angle or greater then you are only doing yourself a disservice to put a stinger on it.

I voted no...that said I had one on my old buggy, and it saved me from an endo once, but I came close a number of times of doing what cody said and having it pitch me sideways..each time I got lucky and set back down on the wheels. my new rig doesnt have one, and the front end is moved forward enough to climb the walls without the wedge factor..most stingers look silly but I do like the psc rear tire carrier/stinger.
