The 4am Feeding

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Well I guess it's closer to 5am now. We are getting closer to all night! I got a rag propping up his bottle so I can type.

So who else is up doing this?

Oh and where is the "tired" smiley face.

my first one after a month would sleep 12 hours a night but im sure our next one if we have another will be up ALL night since our first was so nice to us.

I don't miss that at all... :hickey:

Not even a little. Now I have two kids not old enough to do anything themselves, but old enough to have their own schedules and places they need to be, which is never the same as anyone else. At least I get to sleep at night though. 2.5 years until my youngest is in first grade, and on the same schedule as my oldest.

Fortunately my kids are past that stage but in a very odd way I miss it a little. Its rare moment as a dad when you have uninterrupted quiet time with your baby. That being said I really like uninterrupted sleep too!

I really can't complain much. My fantastic wife takes the night shift during the week, so that only leaves me the weekend. The funny/neat thing is that I NEVER hear him cry during the weeknights, so I sleep just fine. When my turn comes I hear him right away and get up before my wife wakes up.

We keep ours on the boobie, so I have never had to get up. But now we have one baby and 2 toddlers and I have to take the toddlers if there is a problem

About 4 months into our first one my wife discovered that if we pulled the front rail off of the crib, and pulled it next to the bed, all she had to do at night is roll over, whip it out, and go back to sleep. Worked out great for me :)
