i have a yaesu ftm300dr that I was thinking of selling. I used for a few months and decided I didn't like it. $400
That's on the high side of what I wanted to spend, but I'm tempted. I don't know how often I'd actually use that APRS, but the nerd in me wants it bad.i have a yaesu ftm300dr that I was thinking of selling. I used for a few months and decided I didn't like it. $400

Yah, Gigaparts has the same price. I'm looking real hard at it.In the off chance you didn't already find this out, the FTM-6000R is $299.95 shipped.

The bad part of this radio is that it is an analog radio. You can't do APRS on it, and all the kewl features that the digital radios bring to the table. In the off chance you didn't already find this out, the FTM-6000R is $299.95 shipped.

Pretty happy with my FT-60 as well. I've had it for a few years now, and those things are built like a tank. I've also got some presets available if you want to take them. Just a .csv file you can import into Chirp. The FT-60 is a good little radio. I have a programing cable, software and a pretty good file already setup if you wanted to program it.
I also have the same for the FT-70.
Good to know. I still need to grab a handheld dual bandThe MARS mod on my FT3DR was easy remove rubber plug. Grab resistor with needle nose and twist then reinstall plug. I think it is about the same on all Yeasu radios
