not too mention the fact that you are ten years ahead of where most of us were with tools at your age.

thanks for the support guys, i was thinking you guys didn't like it. man i was going to go over there and light it on fire because i didn't have your approval... hehe really though i have a lot of crap to learn and this is going to be fun as hell if you ask me! what else would i waste my money on? a honda or some other tuner? no way!

to simplify my motivation: cherokees were not made to seriously wheel, look at that uniframe it is thin thin stuff and it is just not engineered for it.... so i am going to make it work! it is like putting a square block in a round hole, all the badass kindergarteners try it!!!!
besides that, if it fails i have some killer drivetrain to swap to a sami based buggy.

so what should i do? cut off the whole uniframe and build a tubeframe out of two 1.75" dom tubes one above the other? or should i just get some square tube under there and run it straight back? i like the idea of square for simplicity, and no matter what i am going to leave the front uniframe alone. i am not going to mess with the motor mounts or anything.

also the top sheetmetal is coming off but i am keeping the windshield and door frames for looks and i will have a softtop made for the cab. i think it will rock!!!!!

also, i could get some 10" bilstein coilovers with everything for 375 bucks new should i do it or what? i want to run your style of 4 link hickey, how do you like it. brandon is really talking me into it.

I've been trying to get Cyberduke to be my Uncle, but he seems less than enthused.

i liked it with the top off only....then i woulda made a slanted cut on the rear of the fenders, lowest point at the wheel well sloping up toward the tailgate and rear of the rig....that would look cool....in my opinion

like others, i am excited to see what you end up doing!...i proly won't be around though :(

i'll make you a deal, if you are still alive when i am 30 i will be your uncle.

didn't you have brandon build your 4link? how much did it cost cause that is the whole point of that setup if you ask me, besides the fact busings rule!

i want coilovers!!! how much does a decent 14" cost? i can't find any cool websites that have prices and stuff.

I just bought the parts from Anarchy. The tubing, bushings, bushing sleeves. IT is about the same as if you use heims as far as cost.

Waste of time.

14" coilovers will run 5-800 w/ coils depending on what type and where you get em.

Cody

Sick and wrong. Umm if you get too carried away I have a wrecked MJ shell. You can have a blast designing a cool rear suspension setup. Hmmm 8" springs on my XJ. Naughty thoughts about those.

OK mr. vague

from a guy on POR...he has them listed in the for sale section...its only two of them I think...IMO, 10" is a little small for waht we want...but I am sure they would work fine:D

I will see if I can find the ad again and post it up...
