The weather will be better in the next few weeks.
Who's down for a ride?

I'm thinking we meet at Hogle Zoo: go up Immigration canyon, up parleys, through PC to Deer valley, down Pine Canyon, through Midway and around Deer Creek, back down Alpine Loop, through Alpine and over Traverse ridge.
At that point we can have people bail at I-80

3 hr-ish (98 mi)

Or if you're down for a bit longer ride we go:

Hogle Zoo: go up Immigration canyon to

(Hennifer, into Coalville then up one of my favorite roads ever: Chalk Creek)

then back down to Deer valley, down Pine Canyon, through Midway and around Deer Creek, back down Alpine Loop, through Alpine and over Traverse ridge.
At that point we can have people bail at I-80

(178 mi)

Or we skip chalk creek and shave off 47 miles (23.5 up 23.5 down)

(131 mi)

I just picked up an 84 GL1200, still trying to get it to run though. The electrical is a bit rough. I'm pretty much going to have to darkside it to get a rear tire with any tread, the nearly bald one on it has more tread than most tires available in this size.

It's a base model and pretty stripped, I'm thinking about ditching the headlight for a dual round LED setup too, but we'll see.

What size tire?
I would strongly advise against dark siding. But....
Boogie might tell you eitherwise:rofl:

Option 2.

It's close to 5 hrs just as an FYI. But I'm down so long as we have enough people to plan it that way. Probably I'd like to plan eating at The Corner Restaurant in Midway. Their cowboy mac n cheese with brisket is to die for.

Also. My wife and I picked up Cardo Packtalk Bold comms. Dudes. The best thing ever for group rides.
