Cool, I've been wondering how it is out there. Was it muddy? There's a 10 mile loop on the south side that I really like riding
It was only ever muddy if we hit the north face. If that happened we'd just turn around and take another off shoot. Trails everywhere. I have ridden that 10 mile loop before and it's a blast.

Would anyone like to join me?

I went and rode up Buckland Ridge trail as far a I could in the snow today. Didn't get too far but it was awesome!

Also some dodo's are going out to the dunes Saturday if anyone wants to go.

Are you going to take the new bike to the dunes? I think that's the best way to get to know the bike

How was the ride? Did you get trapped in the floods?

I am sure it would have been good.. but I had some work come it, and decided it was smarter to earn than spend..

either that, or I am too scared to ride alone, and justified not going.. not sure.

I know it really depends on the weather, but when is it usually clear enough to make it to the top?

Had an awesome ride today in Warner Valley. It was solo so I tried to not be too crazy. But against my own wishes I ended up doing a long ride. I rode 65 miles in all. Rode about 75 % of the Rhino Rally again. After that I added on some more in Warner Valley and Sand Hollow. I lost the race markers right before it takes you back down into the valley. I had the option of going back around about 20 miles, or I could take a stab at the goat trail solo. I voted for the latter since I had already crashed earlier in the ride and bent my bar mounts. I had to ride out the day on some pretty out of whack bars and it wasn't too comfortable. I headed down the goat trail and it was definitely more sketchy running it solo. I crashed once and after watching the video my bike came pretty close to going off. I rode for just over 3 hours. 59 of those miles were trail. I was 10-15 minutes faster than my Rhino Rally time even with the extra miles. I am not sore at all and I only had a few crashes. I need to learn how to race without being tense and rigid. I think it'd be a game changer! I will try and get my first video ever recorded.
