Steve, what time do you think you'd be at the snakes? I'm thinking about riding out there and then testing my gps/mount with a self initiated geochache to the nutty putty cave entrance (it's sealed, I know) then riding through little moab and then back up through Lake Mt radio towers. Maybe hitting the single track we rode last week too. This will be all bike, no truck/trailer. The weather has been so off and on I will probably wear some water proof stuff and go for it. probably leave about 10:00am. Anyone care to join?

I'm not sure if I'll be hitting snakes after all. I plan on being in Elberta from 9-noon. If I feel like I still haven't gotten enough riding in, I'll hit snakes after that, but I imagine I'll come straight home at noon. Thanks for the invite though!

Yeah, well the first 1-1.5 miles...then after one of my dumps it crushed my throttle tube so we were forced to turn around. I'd like to try it again this year. It's only about 15-20 mins from my work (I work at the mouth of the canyon).

Yup, a handful of times. Its a workout but rewarding at the top. Won't be open for at least another month as it climbs to some super high elevations that probably just got 6" of new snow

I plan on riding snakes this Saturday after the quarterly training day. So we'll probably get there around 5:30 if anyone wants to join us.

I went tonight for a few minutes. What a nice evening.
Going out tomorrow around Noon if anyone wants to join, just going to hit 5 mile area. No solid time set yet will be after noon though

anyone down for a few rides out at the RME BBQ on memorial day? I'm thinking moab rim, golden spike, hell's revenge, slickrock bike trail, amasa back, etc. Maybe even a mellow scenic night ride. I'll be on my trials bike so I won't be able to do much more than 45-50 miles at a time, and I don't go much faster than 45-50 mph.
