Saturday's ride. This was my first motorcycle edit. We cover so much ground in so little time that it was tough to make it an interesting video. I'm sure I'll get better over time. Thanks for waiting up for me everyone.

I'm thinking about running rattlesnake/constrictor this Saturday. I admit it won't be nearly as much fun on a regular dirt bike, but it should be a blast on a trials bike. Anyone's welcome to join me.

Actually rattlesnake was quite fun on a bike. It only takes a couple minutes each way, but there's lots to play around on out there.

BTW, for $5 I'll sell anyone who wants one a GoPro helmet mount (sticky, curved or flat, you choose). Then you can wear the GoPro for the rides and we might actually get some good footage.

Yeah good job on the video! I liked the combo of normal speed and fast. What's the song? I like hearing the engine sounds but the song made up for it. Had to turn the volume up!

I'll definitely use my GoPro next time. It would be cool to get more shots from different bikes. I want to experiment with the camera stuck to different positions on the bike too.

I'll see about Saturday. It would be nice to practice in some more technical tight stuff.

I'm with you, I enjoy the sound of the bikes. But I had the waterproof case on the GoPro, so It muffles the sound a lot. (I had just returned from a hike with potential water crossing). And with the bouncy road, it was rattling pretty bad. PLus, speeding up the video makes the audio high pitch like the chipmunks. I'll play with the open back housing this weekend. I'll see if I can get some better audio next time.

We tried to go for a ride today after work. Got out there to start riding around 5:30 and it was dumping buckets and quite cold, around 45*...needless to say we ended up not riding

I'm still hoping to be able to get out, but if the weather is anything like tonight, I'll end up cleaning my bike instead of riding it.

I plan on riding the Elberta Trials course tomorrow in the morning, then possibly heading over to run rattlesnake and constrictor. I'm sure it wouldn't be fun for anyone else, but I'll be there. If anyone wants to, they can ride my trials bike a bit on the obstacles to see what it's all about.
