I went to the Knolls last year for the first time. There are a few trails--not really any single track to speak of. I thought it was fun because you can go anywhere you want to go on or off the trail. Small sand dunes, long wide-open sections of desert and a few washes. I'd highly recommend it for beginners, young rider or practice for hare scrambles and such. That's said I don't think you guy's would be thrilled with the Knowlls especially after the trip to the swell :D

That looks a ton like the ride I did out there last year. Not sure if the whole area just looks the same but I'll see if I can find my tracks for you.

It's raining pretty good out here I don't think I'm going to hop on the bike and run up and check out the trail tonight unless the rain lets up soon. The forecast shows sun tomorrow so if I don't make it tonight I'll run up tomorrow after work and ride part of it to see where the snow is if any.
