So do you guys look like Batman or a storm trooper? Never heard if your ribs were broken or not... but sounding like they are. How long until the Dr. says you can ride?

Batman for sure with a little ninja turtle shape on the back. 2 ribs in the back and tore the cartilage holding the ribs to the sternum. Doc says 8 to 12 weeks to recovery. I have actually been feeling a ton better the last 3 or 4 days though. I sneezed yesterday, thats twice since I had my accident. The first time I thought I was going to die, yesterday, it did hurt but I was good after a minute. Its not something I want to do daily but at least now I can take it like a man.

Jon's friend Stephen rode with us. It was crazy hot out at the beginning of our ride and we all suffered for the first little bit. I'm pretty sure we all got a little heat stroke... Stephen's YELLOW track bike overheated a lot so he and Jon bailed to ride the road after the beginning of Tuttle Loop. We later learned that Jon also got a flat.

Trevor had some petcock issues and bailed at the top of Buckland Ridge and rolled down Skyline to the parking lot. I think he made it out ok because his truck was gone when we got down.

Cheston and I both cruised up the hard part of Tuttle loop pretty good. I think we both washed out a few times.

I want some Robocop armor. After yesterday it couldn't hurt. We had some fun on this loose red silt hill. I got pretty friendly with some vegetation. I smashed a peg. Cheston dented his muffler.

Pretty amazing ride. We pushed it a little into stupid territory which is perfect for me.

Anderson cove is a lot of fun. We will be camping up there sometime the third week of July. You think you'll feel up to showing me around up there by them? It'll get me away from my wife's relatives. :D

Tuttle loop kicks you onto Sessions Drive about 3 miles or so after the gate.

I took a ride up to Session's on Friday evening and found where the Tuttle Loop trail comes out. I didn't go down in there or anything but just judging by how much lower the beginning of the trail is, it looks pretty intense coming up. I'll have to try it sometime for sure.
