The Vagillionaire Build

Well as none of you may know I sold Heathers TJ this weekend in hopes of getting back into a four door rig. I know we will end up back in a JK but I must exhaust all options before that happens. So This time around we are building a WJ, Nothing fancy this time this will be your average WJ build with One tons, 40s, Atlas, stretched and linked on some raceline Beadlocks and other fancy smancy bling bling parts. I opted for the 4.7 liter V8 mostly because everyone here said to avoid it :D .

Heated leather, dual climate control, sunroofs and wood grain dash are all very important factors in a hardcore family wheeler. So with that said I will update the thread tomorrow with pictures of the rig after I take delivery of it...

Yes this is a unibody rig, Yes I am very ashamed of myself!!!

Why do you care? It ain't like you're going to wheel it. You'll be lucky if you're done building it before you get bored and sell it.

Its not a matter of being bored its a matter of making money....

And I have never missed a large wheeling event so as long as I have a rig together for the major events I am a happy camper

I also sense resentment that I build and finish a rig and sell it faster than you can swap a motor.....

After wheeling with some nice Unibodies I am glad to see you have finally seen the light and got into a Cherokee. Welcome the club.

How do you plan on fitting 40's in those wheel wells? Especially with the lcg standard that you've set for everybody. And I'm assuming you bill be narrowing the axles for tire coverage but what else will help cover? Tube flares on a wj? :)

I'm going to use this as a "some day" thread, the build I emulate when I get tired of the 32s I'll be running. Use great detail. :D

I will not be narrowing the axles, with the stretch I plan on clearing 40s should be doable......Possibly. If not I have a few sets of 37s laying around as well that can find there way onto this build. As far as tire coverage my only requirement is it is Streetable to drive in Tooele and with full widths that should be easy enough. There wont be enough sheet metal left around the wheel wells to mount a flare.

For sure the gas tank/spare tire need work. Some people just put the tank where the spare was. The radiator is also challenging but it can be done. I'm just excited to see something different and then laugh when he sells it

Good luck. WJs are hard to stretch. I'll find a link to the one I helped do a 44 and 9" in. The radiator and gas tank placement both make it a challenge, but really cool.

TJs are hard to stretch too if you leave the fuel tank in the factory location.

Why don't you finish the promod first;)

I have a strict buggy time schedule and the WJ will fill in the cracks...
