Welded up the front link mounts and finished a few things and got it rolling today. Took it outside for a bit.

Then I got the radiator 90% mounted.

looks so good, i love it. will it be done in time for you to bring it down to crawlfest?

Thanks! I'm really trying, that's kind of the goal for now. The only reason I wouldn't make it might be delay in parts that I need. We'll see.

Playing in photoshop to see how the paneling might turn out. I'm not considering blue and the chassis will likely be painted charcoal color, but this kinda gives me an idea of what I want to do with the shapes.

nice, what are you going to use for the panels? and I am in the same boat. I sold my tires so now I am trying to put some money together for tires before crawlfest. we should both try and get ours done for it. it will be a lot of fun.

They are crazy but I like them more and more. They seem to fit the personality of the buggy. :D

That was photoshop. I wish I had the panels done already. Just drawing to give myself more motivation.

I knew that, just appreciating your computer skills;)

How does the bottom of the radiator mount? (how does the rad come out?)

There's some angled pieces on the other side of the lower bar that the radiator is sitting on. Going to finish the front side of it today. The upper bar is removable, the clamps are just not pictured. :)

love it herzog, great work.

Thanks!

nice, what are you going to use for the panels? and I am in the same boat.

Probably the same thing I used on my last one, .120 Polycarbonate. Worked awesome and held up great.

Shane, I have been watching this unfold, It is looking really really good man. Nice job, I like the bends in the roof line alot. The color is good too :D

Thanks! I've been pretty happy with how things are turning out. Some of it has been luck. :D
