Specifically looking at this 2012 Jayco 37FS. Much newer than 10 years and they quickly exceed my budget. We don’t need a massive tow capacity, we just need to flat tow a vehicle.

Not a bad option. The only thing I have seen mentioned repeatedly about the older business class chassis is to stay away from the International platform. Sounds like a lot of people have had a lot of problems with the motors and just the overall quality of the chassis. When it comes to the box, they put on them, each manufacturer have their plusses and minuses. Manufacturers who use steel or aluminum for the box structure are going to be more durable over time than one that uses wood. When it comes to the stuff you can see inside, it is pretty easy to see what the quality is.

Last summer I quit my job and took my family on the road full time in a toyhauler. Lately I’ve been eyeing a “super C” Motorhome for a handful of reasons. Seeing this on the lakebed had me rethinking… despite not addressing any of the reasons for switching , I still want to build one, because it’s more awesome.

I've been eyeballing/wanting a LMTV for awhile now, but hadn't seen a camp trailer mounted on the back yet! I think that would make a killer tow rig / adventure camper. The MPG and max speed may not be great and God help you if you ever got it stuck, but I'd love one.

Not something I’d want, but thought some here might be interested in seeing this.

Man, investing in Samurai’s would’ve worked out better than crypto for me. My bro’s Sami in ’02 was $1k.
