So I’m 6’6” and I fit in the Suzuki Carry just fine. It’s tight but fine. I do not fit in the Honda Acty. Like my knees are pushing on the turn signal lever and wiper lever. It’s bad. Those are so sick! But I am 6’5”, and can’t fit in one, I tried.
I do want to build an Isuzu NPR as a larger version.

Our dive master on Kaui last March has a 4wd Honda with lockers. I tried to get him to sell it to me. He flat out told me that there was no way in hell I would get it from him. I tried. My neighbor just picked up this Acty and I’m a jealous FOOL

That's awesome. I've seen where people put sxs tires on them and that looks fun. This one has the tiniest little Toyo Open Country A/T's on a 12" wheel. It's neato. Our dive master on Kaui last March has a 4wd Honda with lockers. I tried to get him to sell it to me. He flat out told me that there was no way in hell I would get it from him. I tried.
I just had to look it up on youtube. Pretty interesting that there's no easy to shift without reaching under to do that. I wonder if anybody makes a linkage and shifter kit to do it from the cab?The weirdest part is how you "shift" to 4WD. There's a bolt on the transaxle (under the bed) that you turn. I assume it moves a shift collar to engage the driveshaft. It's awesome
One of those times being short has its advantages! So I’m 6’6” and I fit in the Suzuki Carry just fine. It’s tight but fine. I do not fit in the Honda Acty. Like my knees are pushing on the turn signal lever and wiper lever. It’s bad.
I can’t see it being easy enough to do with a linkage. It’s really not hard to access either so just turning the bolt wouldn’t be too bad. I’m interested to see how it drives in the winter, being so small, turning so tight and having the motor in the back. I see some church parking lot fun in our futureI just had to look it up on youtube. Pretty interesting that there's no easy to shift without reaching under to do that. I have seen many have the 5th gears physically present, but locked out, and they can be modified to be used. Not sure which brands have that though. My dad has had a few versions of the Suzuki Carry, no 5th gear so top speed is limited to about 50mph. I'd love a Toyota Champ if they would sell one here
I can help with the second part.Damn, anyone want to store it for me?
Oh, and teach me to drive it
