Figure I'd share this as well as it is equally dangerous. Don't use shackles to hook tow straps together if you need more than one. If the strap breaks bad things happen.

I like that towel method. Keeps the straps from locking too tight together, but doesn't become a lethal projectile if SHTF.

I did this last year and knew better, I totally just got lazy and didn't want to go back to town to get the right stuff, now I have dent's in the tailgate.

The towel method is a great idea
