My T-case stopped shifting into 2wd , I still have 4lo, N, and 4hi. I installed marlin 4.7:1 gears last winter but all has worked fine until recently. If any one has any ideas , lets hear them . I'm confused.

Take your top shifter out and realign it up. The shifter will from time to time slip out where the ball end fits in the transfer shift rods. 5-!0 min fix.

I took the shifter out yesterday and I couldn't move the rail even with a pry bar!!! I don't know if its some problem with the rail , the shift fork or maybe the roll pin that holds the fork on the rail. I would think that if something were interfering with the movement that there would be some grinding noise or something? I think I'll just keep on truckin' until winter ,I hardly use 2wd anyway.

Mine shifts out of 4wd alot easier in reverse. Have you tried that? Did you unlock the front hubs so there is no pressure on the front output?

Unlocked hubs , put in reverse and shifted into 2wd smooth as butter!!!!:D Thanks , I have never had to un lock hubs or back up before. I'm usally in 4wd , but sometimes I use 2wd but, very rarely.
