I watched a program on Discovery Channel a while back, where a farmer hired a local gun club to come to his farm and eradicate his potgut infestation. "It's a lotta fun, when you shoot one, three more stand up to see what the noise was" hehe:D

........coyote hunting........20 gauge over-under w/ #5's...... 3"mag turkey loads...........the trick is an electronic caller w/ coyote pup in distress tape (so you can sit still)......full camo......cover scents......and the decoy I got from a pet store...it's one of those plastic balls with the motor in it and has the raccoon tail on it.......I've let a few actually pounce on it before I blast them at 15 feet........:D :D ......hits them like a truck....:D

Mememememe!! I wanna go!! Actually I've been looking at getting something in the bolt action 3-500 yard type gun! I looked at a Savage the other day....huge scope, heavy fluted SS barrel, synthetic stock......oooh baby! It's at Gallensons, the one with my slobber all over it. I've got a couple good 100 yard rifles right now, would love to go. Saw a bunny out at 5mp on Saturday.....I've been a couple times in the west desert but never seen too many rabbits. I've heard there are a lot of 'em further south. Let's go!

One of my buddies told me a story of some of his friends that will go get a cat from the humane soceity, put it in a cage and walk it out into a field of sage brush in the west desert. They'll leave it there overnight, then come back the next morning and the cat screaming all night would attract all kinds of coyotes for them to shoot.

I am wanting to go this weekend.

Is there written documentation on where and what is able to be shot at?

The rabbits, are they good for eating if you dont destroy the hind quarters? as a kid we were raised on rabbits so i know what needs to be done.
what should be looked in to before munching on them? what kinda of disesase? any one else eat them?

I have personally seen someone run a whistlepig/potgut over with a K125, and then dump the clutch at redline on it! Man I need to shoot some badly. It's been years since I've sent a round into one.

A little bird told me that It works better, if you nail the cats foot to a board... Said you could sometimes shoot 3-4 dogs in one stand that way... But I wouldn't know :D

I'm going saturday at 3:00 A.M.

Anyone looked into that .204 Ruger? Looks Awsome for Dogs. I think that will be my next gun.
